    I don't think cognitive disorders should be treated with medicines. The reason for your cognitive disorder is not physical, its psychological, and it just makes no sense having someone tied to a physical drug because of a psychological issue. It will only cover up the issue, not fix it. Sure you can mask it... but you will be masking it all your life, and won't actually fix the core ofthe problem. The core of the problem probably causes other psychological issues as well, not just ocd or hypochondria. Im not a medical professional, just a common sense professional.

    Omega 3 for issues arisen from meth use?

    • @asus.dios.
      @asus.dios. 10 месяцев назад

      Omega 3 EPA and DHA (high doses) facilitate neuroplasticity. This takes time though. For meth users the immediate issue is with the dopamine pathways. Assuming you are not dependent on Meth or substitutes you might use omega 3 in conjunction with methods to increase dopamine base levels. Use L tyrosine , excercise, low carb high fat diet and consume Magnesium, potassium and zinc rda quantities with B vitamins and D. Cofee increases dopamine receptors when consumed with Tyrosine or L Dopa (mucuna purines). Use ashwagandha or similar adaptagens to control stress . Best of luck.

    it is not always treatable. There are about 2 pct of all depressive people who are therapie and medication resistant. Guess what? I'm one of them. I've tried every treatment in the book. I've had every pill known to man. And I even, because of pure desparation, went so far to have 24 shock treatments. Result: zero. Could have saved myself 30 years of looking for a cure. You have no idea what I went through. I have to live with this. I wake up every morning and think about how the hell I am gonna get through the rest of the day. And that's just a fact. I know I've tried everything there is. But it is also a fact that with a very small amount of depressive people, nothing helps. Somettimes I see photographs of myself in the past and think: what the bloody hell hapenned?

  • @normadesmond6017
    @normadesmond6017 2 года назад

    when you have 100 people who have a clinical depression, then there are 2 pct. who have a chronic depression. That means - nothing works. Pills, therapy, ECT, whatever - it s not working for me. I 'm living with this for 30 years now. I will be 60 years old next year, so that's half of my life. I tried every anti-depressive there is. I've been through every therapy there is ( "If I were a tree, what kind of tree would I be, was one of the questions. during one of the therapies....). INothing helps. Every day I wake up and there it is again. A very, very dark clous hanging above me, having to make me get through the day before I can go to bed again. And this will be it for me for the rest of my life. This disease is a living hell.

      @@rachna0367 Sorry to answer this late. Haven' t seen your response. I sort of learnt to keep on going. I have 3 volunteer jobs and a meeting once a week with people who suffer from the disease also. You have to have structure in your week. No matter what - structure is the major thing. Get up, no matter what, and do it. One step at a after another. Get up, take a shower, put your clother on and go there. And when you are there with other people - you will feel alive somehow. If only for a couple of hours. But you'v got to get out and be with people. For me it's the only way.

I can't tell you how many times I went to the hospital absolutely positive I was dying of some sort of cancer or other disease. Even from illnesses that are extremely rare or unlikely. It's so embarrassing after realizing it was a borderline delusion, lol. Sometimes even after getting medical reassurance, I think the doctor overlooked or missed something. Maybe it just didn't show up in the MRI etc. This sucks. 😆

    I have health anxiety and used to have OCD. I know there is a link. I underwent CBT a number of years ago and was given citalopram. Now some 10 years later still on citalopram and again had CBT but did not find it at all helpful and wish to get off citalopram. I don’t think CBT is helpful for everyone. Dont know what else to try. I have read a little about ACT and wonder if it would be helpful.

    Is health anxiety always the only aspect of hyperchondria? I know someone who not only panics about germs and illness but also needs others to show frequent sympathy for her suffering, like it’s her only way of being reassured people care and her feelings are important. If someone else gets sympathy for a physical ailment while she’s already feeling anxious and insecure she will feel hurt and left out, even though she’s just received plenty of sympathy herself. If she’s relaxed and confident it won’t bother her so much, but it’s usually focused around health. I imagine treating just the health anxiety will just make her feel like nobody loves her.

    Vaccines DO cause autism...the reason things go together "in time" is because A DOES cause B. Many children are not able to detoxify after so MANY vaccines that they get these days, 3 times as many as children got in the 70s. The greedy pharmaceutical companies are ruining childrens' health but they will have to answer to a higher power someday.
